Homework Week of October 31, 2011

Have a safe and Happy Halloween :)

End of first quarter is on Wednesday, November 9, 2011.

Report Card Pick up will be on November 16, 2011.

Science:  October 31, 2011.  Students workded on section three, "Tables, Graphs and Pictures."  Trianges are completing a bar graph, configuring percentages and creating a circle graph.  Students that did not finish this in class will be finishing this assignment for homework and this is due on Wednesday.

Homework and Events Week of October 31, 2011

Students can wear Halloween shirts with Jeans or wear black and orange on Monday for Halloween.   We will be having a Halloween party and movie towards the afternoon.  If students are bringing treats, there are 31 students in the class.

Science:  Do not forget to read pages 35-40 in your workbook and complete side margin questions. 

Social Studies.  Students that have their current event due, don't forget it for Tuesday.

Science: October 24, 2011:  We worked on various types of SI Units of Measurement.  Students are completing a foldable and they will be handing this in on Wednesday, October 26, 2011.

Social Studies:  Ocrober 25, 2011:  Do not forget your assigned current event.  We will be presenting our Hispanic Project in class on Tuesday, Thursday.

Science: October 26, 2011:  Read workbook pages 35-40 and complete side margin questions 2-9 n your notebook.

Science:  October 3, 2011:  Students went over study guide for science test on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.  Students were presented a project on creating a scaled model of room 112 using graph paper.  Students wrote rubric in their notebooks.  Do not forget students who have a current event due on Tuesday.

Social Studies:  October 4, 2011:  Students were given a short research projecct on a famous Hispanice person.  Students recieved a rubric and this will be due on October 20, 2011.  Students can type the project as a report, do a PPT or poster.  Students were presented in social studies to day polictical cartoon on environmental issues.  Students will work on their cartoon n class on Thursday. 

Science, October 5, 2011: Students took their science test and grades have been posted.  Students are working on a scaled model for room 112.  Students should be working on this and will have 10 to 15 minutes to finish it on Friday. :)

Social Studies, October 6, 2011:  Students worked on their polictical cartoone on envrionmental issues.  This project is due by Friday and will be on their progress report.  Students will be responsible completing vocabulary on page A18 #1-10.  Below are the pages the words are on.
