October 30, 2014:   Students took their MTSS vocabulary test today.  Students reviewed practice book page 272 and Simple Solutions page lesson 25.  Students read chapter 7 and began chapter 8 in their novel.

October 28, 2014:  Students took a pre-spelling test today, page 271 PB.  Students reviewed Simple Solutions lesson 24.  Students read chapters 6 & 7 in the novel, "The Watsons..."

• Missed spelling 5 times each
• Simple Solutions lesson 25
• Study for Vocabulary/Comprehension test chapters 5 & 6
• Quiz on unit orange vocabulary book unit two Thursday.

Halloween party on Friday.  There are 37 students in the class.  Students may wear orange and black.  Bring in your student fee money, shot records/physicals.

October 27, 2014:  Students reviewed instructional vocabulary for test on chapters 5 & 6 Wednesday.  Students read in their novel for Wednesday's test.  Students learned an additional academic vocabulary word and reviewed four words we learned already.

Homework:

• Study vocabulary (instructional) for test on Wednesday.
• Test on orange vocabulary book on Thursday. 
• Collecting student journal on Tuesday and Wednesday.
• Simple Solutions lesson 24

End of the quarter next week.  Make sure you turn in your progress report and student fees.  I you have a physical to turn in make sure you do that.

October 23, 2014:  Students reviewed practice book page 251 and Simple Solutions lesson 22.  Room 316 completed introduction to instructional vocabulary.  Students read aloud chapter 5 in the novel, "The Watsons..."

October 3, 2014:  Students finished test on the novel "The Watsons...  Students had an assessment on the outside novel they have been reading "Middle School."  Students reviewed Simple Solutions lesson 13 & 14.

Monday students will be introduced to research project.  Information will be available next to the homework blog.  Students will discuss on Monday when this project will be due and the rubric.
