Homework for the Week of September 30, 2011

Field Trip forms for the Field Museum are due by October 7, 2011.  The cost is $5.00 for the bus and entrance to the 9/11 exhibit.

Current Events for Social Studies Due Tuesday.  Four students have been picked from each section to present.

Note:  There will be a science test on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 on chapter 1.

Homework Week 1 & 2

NWEA TESTING FOR SIXTH GRADE 09/15/2011
Open House Wednesday, September 21, 2011 6:00 to 8:00

Homework/Classwork:  September 14, 2011
Students worked on science lab using the steps of scientific method.  Students began creating a foldable (organize their notes for section 1).  This will be due at the end of class on Friday.

Homework/Classwork:  September 13, 2011
Students wokred on map of the world.  This will be due completed on Thursday, September 15, 2011.  Students were told to label the oceans, continents and at least 5 countries for each contienent if it applies.  Students are also suppose to color the entire map.  Students can use their social studies textbook pages A23 & A24 or the Internet.  Thank you!

Extra Credit:  On a notecard, identify the three variables you use when conducting experiment.  You will get additional points if you tell me what each one means.
