Classwork, Homework, & Notifications Week February 6th & February 13th

Science-February 17, 2012:  Students worked on graphic organizer for Electric Currents, page 201.  In student science notebook, complete word, definition, example and picture. This is due on Wednesday, February 21st.   Have a wonderful weekend. :)

Social Studies-February 16, 2012:  Students worked on pros and cons if society should urge students to work their parents job.  Studnets created a t-chart and then wrote a letter to the editor on their arguments.  This is letter is due on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.  Good luck!

Science-February 15, 2012:  Students in Octagons were assigned an activity to create a diagram on how lightning is created, write a summary and explain the 30/30 rule.  Students may use the Internet to help them.  This is due on Friday, February 17, 2012.  Students began working on section two today, "Electric Currents."

Science-February 10, 2012:  Students in Hexagons and Triangles were assigned an activity to create a diagram on how lightning is created, write a summary and explain the 30/30 rule.  Students may use their workbook page 104 and the Internet to help them.  This is due on Wednesday.

Social Studies-February 9, 2012:  Students were assigned an extended response question to complete.  How doe the Aryan (caste) social structure (class) comare to past and present social classes?

Compare to U.S. Social Classes
Egyptian Social Classes
Conclusion
This is due next Tuesday.  Assigned current event will be due to.

Social Studies-February 7, 2012:  Hexagons write a paragraph using 5 vocabulary words, underline vocabulary words and circle context clues.  Trianges and Octagons, write a sentence for each vocabulary word and include a context clue within the sentence.  Underline vocabulary word and circle context clue.  :)

Science-February 6, 2012:  Electricity & Magnetism Lab due not later than Tuesday.
