Field Trip to the Adler Planetarium May 17, 2012: Students will be receiving a field trip form for the Adler Planetarium on Tuesday, March 27, 2012. Teachers would like this form to be returned with the money no later than April 12, 2012. Thank you :)
Social Studies: March 29, 2012: Students viewed a video on the history of Hinduism and how it developed to what is is now. Students are writing a summary how Hinduism developed and read pages 129 & 130 and 135 & 136. These pages have already been reviewed and discussed in class. This summary is due on March 30. 2012. Students had 40 minutes class time to work on this assignment.
SS: March 27, 2012: Many students have current events due on Tuesday. Make sure you have it.
Science: March 26, 2012: Students completed study guide for upcoming test on chapter 9, "Rocks and Minerals." Test will be on Wednesday, March 28, 2012. Make sure you study.
Science: March 21, 2012: Draw diagram of volcanoe fissures on pages 266 & 267 label and answer essay question, what is a fissure and how are intrusive rocks and extrusive rocks different? Due on March 23, 2012.
Social Studies: March 20, 2012: Octagon and Triangles complete graphic organizer for three vocabulary words on page 134. Word, definintion and you own sentence.
Science: March 19, 2012: Students participated in a virutal lab on identifying rocks. Students are suppose to write three complete sentence what they learned. This is due on Wednesday, March 21st.
