February 23, 2015: Students made a vocabulary entry on the word concur. Students were given a prespelling test. These words will be on the haleschool.org website. Students will be doing the practice book pages in class for volume two. Students participated in an activity reviewing vocabulary (academic, instructional and story elements. Students read chapter three "Number the Stars" and started to answer two comprehension questions.
- Homework:
- write missed spelling words 5 times each
- prefix: mal root: man
- Student Treasure book due on March 5th, this will also be a speaking grade
- Simple solutions quiz Friday, February 27, 2015 lesson 69 to 72
- Spelling test on Friday, February 27, 2015 (words were given to students and online)
- Reading test chapters 1-4 for your novel "Number the Stars," Thursday, February 26, 2015
